Loam Journal brings together work that looks closely at how we live with the land, with each other, and within the systems we inherit. We celebrate voices too often overlooked—women, Indigenous knowledge-holders, and marginalised communities—whose ways of knowing teach us about respect, reciprocity, and connection.

The stories we share ask us to slow down, unlearn, and relearn the wisdom that has sustained people and ecosystems for generations. We are drawn to work that explores regenerative practices, that nurtures communities, and that honours the living world around us. Our approach is rooted in place, attentive to process, and guided by curiosity.
